I had bought a couple of pairs of Orthaheel sandals in 2011 and was pleased. In early 2012 I purchased the Mojave sandal and was thereby introduced to the Vionic footbed. What a difference! The Vionic design is even better than the standard Orthaheels. For my most recent purchase, I ordered 2 paids of the Muir design. Not as cool looking as the Mojave, but colder weather is setting in, and I can wear socks with the Muirs. Be sure to purchase a half size (or so) smaller than your regular shoe size.
What would I change? This is minor: I'd add a layer of some sort of non-rubber material. -
the muir sandal is the most comfortable footwear i can remember wearing. the only problem i found with it, is the velcro closure ... hasn't held up well. i have purchansed another pair and hope the velcro lasts a lot longer than the previous pair. i rate the sandal itself as SUPERIOR!

I love my walking sandals. I can wear them all day long and when I get home my feet aren't tired or achey. I love the color - olive green, it goes with anything and everything.

I have severe Medial Plantar Nerve entrapment and an ugly scar left where several tumors were removed. I bought the Muir sight unseen but I was convinced after reading all the other reviews, and by the APMA seal of approval. Since the sandals arrive, I hardly take them off! The arch and heel support is incredible. I can wear no other footwear. It's a good thing I'm 3 sizes larger than my mom, or she'd steal them too! I got the black and blue pair and they are really cute; I am so weary of old lady looking support shoes because I'm young. I know where I will be buying all my footwear from now on.

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I was having hip and knee issues and these sandals have alleviated the pain considerably.
Thank you
